Tell me about a typical evening
Participants gather for warm up and news before the action starts. Your child participates in 4-5 track and field events for their specific development stage today.
Is previous athletic training required?
Absolutely not. This club is built for development. From first-time athletes to experienced competitors, our community provides a nurturing space for every single participant.
Should a guardian remain?
Yes, every child must have a guardian present. This satisfies local safety rules. Parent help at each event is essential. This is not a spectator sport.
Which items are essential?
Bring hydration, footwear, and energy. Uniforms consist of a club shirt with dark bottoms. See policies for spike guidance. Enjoy the fun.
What events are on offer?
Programmed events rotate weekly across all age divisions. Our disciplines include track running, hurdles, racewalking, throwing, and jumping. We aim to post the meets program before the start of each meet for your reference.
How is rain managed?
Weather status updates are posted by 4pm on session days. Please monitor our official social media feed for any venue changes or cancellations.
What are the session fees?
Enrollment costs are set via Little Athletics Queensland. Check our registration section for pricing details.
Are there representative options?
Certainly. Competitors can advance to regional and state-level meets. Detailed pathways for representative sport are listed on our competition tab.
