McDonald's Achievement Awards

Our Triple Performance Tiers

Steps to Secure a Certificate

To obtain a McDonald's Achievement Award Certificate, athletes must hit the target rating across all disciplines in any three unique event sets.

For instance, a U13 star wins a Green rank by hitting marks in three sets: (1) Hurdles — 60m plus 200m Hurdles, (2) Sprints — 70m, 100m plus 200m, and (3) Throws — Discus, Javelin and Shot Put. Send inquiries to highfieldsanddistrictlittleathletics@hotmail.com

Various event sets may be mixed, provided you meet the standard in three. Specific divisions follow alternative guidelines for their successes:

  • U6-U7 — two event groups neededU8-U17 — three event groups are mandatory

Participants can likewise attain a ribbon for taking part.

A cap of three awards exists for each athlete annually: one Green, one Red, and one Blue. These honors are distributed at intervals during our competition schedule.

Achievement Cards

Specific benchmarks for each division and sport are found on official Achievement Cards. Girls use pink and boys use blue trackers. Pick these up from club leadership or find them included in the final year-end summary. Contact highfieldsanddistrictlittleathletics@hotmail.com for info.

These standards are derived from mean results throughout Little Athletics Queensland and undergo formal assessment every three seasonal cycles.

The McDonald's Achievement Awards offer all participants specific targets, no matter their rank. We aim for every Hornet to reach a GREEN status before we finish up the current season!

Red

A high-quality benchmark typically met by about 65% of track athletes.

Blue

A top-tier result currently attained by roughly 20% of club athletes.
